6th Annual "Spirit of Community Partnership" Awards Luncheon

The United Way's 6th annual "Spirit of Community Partnership" Awards Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 16 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Serra Center in Camarillo. The event will draw volunteer and community leaders from across the business, corporate, education, government and non-profit sectors who demonstrate a commitment to Advancing the Common Good.
Special awards will be presented in the following categories:
• Ronald Golden, Vice President of Major Accounts for Chicago Title, is the recipient of this year’s Milton M. Teague Award in recognition of his outstanding overall community volunteerism and support of the United Way.
• Kay Wilson-Bolton, a local real estate broker, is the recipient of the Douglas Shively Award presented annually to the individual who has provided the highest level of outstanding community impact support throughout Ventura County.
• Bank of America is the recipient of the Roy Pinkerton Award presented annually to the top company displaying outstanding corporate citizenship. Bank of America is a leader in demonstrating best practices annually with its local employee campaigns and other fundraising activities.
• Dr. Rosalind Warner-Hogan, a local Gynecologist, will receive the United Women's Leadership Council Award for her outstanding participation and dedication to help resolve foster care emancipation issues in our community through collective financial and leadership power.
• Cecilia "Ceal" Potts, a representative for a trail bike company, is the recipient of the Young Leaders Society Award for her outstanding commitment and involvement to help empower young people in civic engagement. Potts is a founding member of the Young Leaders Society.
