On Saturday, Sept. 29, close to a thousand people from across Ventura County lent a hand to support United Way of Ventura County's 18th Annual Day of Caring. Workplace teams, clubs, families and individual volunteers proved they cared about our community. This year, a special effort will be made to provide projects that are in-line with United Way's Focus Areas.
